Today, Governor Kay Ivey held a joint press conference with Dr. Scott Harris to provide an update on their COVID-19 efforts at 11:00am. The current "Safer at Home" order, including the statewide mask mandate, will expire April 9th, 2021 at 5:00 PM. The "Safer Apart" Health Order will go into effect until May 5th, 2021 at 5:00 PM. Masks are still strongly encouraged.
Businesses and organizations can still implement their own mask requirements.
