Calhoun County COVID-19 Update, 9/8/20

Currently in Calhoun County:


- 2,602 total cases

Cumulative cases since March


- 410 new cases in the past 14 days,

This is a moving total and represents all the new cases and tests reported to ADPH in the past 14 days.


- 26 current COVID-19 hospitalizations

This number is the most up-to-date number of COVID-19 positive patients currently in the hospital. This does not represent the total number of COVID-19 positive hospitalizations over

time.


- 31 confirmed deaths

(On 9/2/20, ADPH had Calhoun County at 32 deaths and 6 probable. On 9/3/20, it was changed to 31 deaths and 7 probable. Probable deaths are ones still being investigated).

This is the cumulative number of deaths investigated and confirmed by ADPH.

    1. Do you know where you will get tested?

    2. Do you have an isolated room in your house that the infected family member can stay so COVID-19 is not spread to other family members?

    3. If you have to isolate for 2 weeks, how will you have supplies and food brought to you?

  3. Perseverance - We are all in this together and we need to have in mind that the fight against COVID-19 is a marathon not a sprint.
