COVID-19 Situation Update as of 3/13/2020


Public Health Emergency


  • President Trump declared a National Emergency this afternoon.

  • Governor Ivey has declared a Public Health Emergency this evening. The full proclamation can be found on the Office of the Governor's Website.

  • There is no reimbursement available at this time, however, local governments should track COVID-19 related expenses.



Schools


  • All schools will close starting on Thursday, March 19.

  • Target date to reopen is Monday, April 6.

  • Situation will be reassessed as needed.
