Eligibility of Vaccines Expanded

Through the Calhoun County Unified Command, vaccine sites will be operating each day next week, Feb 8-12th. They will be by appointment only through www.rmccares.org/vaccine-info

To get your first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, please go to rmccares.org/vaccine-info and click the link to register.


They will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY.


You will need to show your appointment confirmation on your phone or printed out.

WHO


Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) will expand eligibility to additional groups starting February 8th. The groups are listed below. If you have specific question regarding eligibility, you will need to contact ADPH.

  • People age 65 and older 

  • First responders (EMS, Police, Fire) 

  • Food and agriculture workers 

  • U.S. Postal Service workers 

  • Manufacturing workers 

  • Grocery store workers 

  • Public transit workers 

  • People working in education (teachers, support staff, community college and higher education) 

  • Childcare workers 

  • Judiciary, including but not limited to circuit judges, district judges and district attorneys
