Today, Governor Kay Ivey held a joint press conference with Dr. Scott Harris to provide an update on their COVID-19 efforts at 11:00am. The current order, including the statewide mask mandate, will be extended until April 9th, 2021 at 5:00 PM. Please remember to wear your mask, socially distance and sanitize frequently.
Governor Kay Ivey did acknowledge that the mask mandate will no longer be in effect after April 9th, 2021. There has also been more restrictions lifted such as:
- Kids camps can occur during summer
- Hospitals and long-term car facilities can allow up to 2 visitors per patient
- Seating limitations on restaurants are lifted
